Congrats Rich Miller!

Rich Miller will finish up his 20+ year career with the Indianapolis Star (and News) after this weekends Indianapolis 500!!! It has been amazing to see his growth in wedding photography over the past 2.5 years. He had to make a choice between the Star and weddings....so.....the weddings won!

I don't even know where to start!! This is definitely one of my most favorite weddings EVER!!! Everything about it was AMAZING!!! The whole day was held at Mavris Arts & Event Center which is a BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE place. John, the owner, is such a wonderful and kind person...great to work with!
There were so many creative aspects to the day from the wine bottle center pieces to Scott & Whitney riding off on a tandem bike! I think what I loved the most was Whitney's little hat with netting! How GORGEOUS does she look!!!!
Scott & Whitney are TRULY an AMAZING couple...I know God is going to BLESS their marriage!

Engagements! Engagements! Engagements!

Spring has sprung (and then some!) and I'm shooting 4-5 engagement sessions a week. The spring and fall are my favorite times to shoot, so these sessions are big fun for me. I get to spend some quality time with my couples, and they realize how easy and fun taking photos can be. Most couples seem to forget I'm taking their photo...which is exactly where we want to be on the wedding day. I just make a few simple suggestions and wait for the moment to happen. Sounds easy doesn't it?It's really is fun watching people be themselves in front on me!

Sorry that we've been MIA lately. We're trying to get back into the swing of things after taking some much needed time off. I plan to keep things updated in the future! I promise! :-)
